More Catching Fire locations! The Swan House in Atlanta is apparently set to film a Capitol party scene:
Thanks to one of our tipsters we’ve now learned the Swan House will be used for a party scene for The Capitol on Sept 26, 27, 28. They also told us the shoot will include some custom-made costumes for the party goers, including a suit made out of bricks.Source: On Location Vacations via The Hob
There was also a casting call posted last week for dancers who can waltz which would make sense for an elaborate party scene.
According to the home’s website, it is “an elegant, classically styled mansion built in 1928 for the Edward H. Inman family, heirs to a cotton brokerage fortune.” The website also notes the historic mansion will be closed from September 17 – 28.
